There is a new entry under our Short Story menu. It is an excerpt from the still under construction memoir of Bob Perry. Bob flew a Huey with VMO-3 in Vietnam from May 1967 to June 1968.
The excerpt focuses on the travails of the pilots who flew the CH-46. It is a yet another story that affirms the bravery and dedication to those who serve in our armed forces.
After returning from Vietnam, Bob went into law enforcement. He worked as a criminal investigator for the Los Angeles County District Attorney until his retirement in 1998.
Check it out. It is a quick and easy read.
And stay tuned for a delightful short story from BJ Schneider who worked both as a cop and an EMT in New Orleans.
